I love shooting people with a zest for life. I can work fast and light or crew up as needed for both stills and motion production with a great team and a great producer. Every assignment is an opportunity to create something extraordinary....and have a lot of fun. Authentic, emotional, time-slowing, cinematic imagery is how I see the world. And my notepad is filled with future personal projects.
I was born in Kuwait with family roots in NY and a childhood growing up across a few countries (Panama was my favorite.) Life began in the darkroom every day after high school followed by college to be an astronomer (didn't but love it).
I embrace challenges, love collaboration and honor the beauty of everyday.

It’s déjà vu for photographer Kevin Steele with his recent tourism campaign for South Dakota, and we are all lucky enough to cash in on the experience. This time around Kevin collaborated with ad agency Lawrence & Schiller and South Dakota Tourism for their 2017 campaign “My Great Place".

What happens when Digitas and Kevin Steele get together? They travel to the insanely beautiful island of St. Lucia to photograph a new campaign for American Express and Delta Airlines. As you can imagine, hanging out in the West Indies with a crew of amazingly friendly and creative people resulted in a seamless collaboration on four stunning shots full of warmth and invitation, a signature of Kevin’s work.
On the Pacific coast of Mexico, a 200-acre property is home to a boutique eco-resort offering guests an immersive experience into the local environment and landscape. Kevin Steele and his team recently visited this magical oasis so they could photograph the expansive property for their most recent campaign.
