The weather is getting colder and just about everyone is trading in his or her iced drinks for steamy beverages like Bigelow’s new Steep organic tea. 

To launch this new line, HMS Design called on Colin Cooke to bring his expertise to the table as they were looking to push the creative envelope and create a stand out look and feel for the new brand. As Colin tells us, “this was a major style departure from their present line of teas so we spent quite a bit of time experimenting with what type of props and foods best expressed the flavor.”

Once the team had their ideas in place, Colin designed an all-natural lighting environment in an open garage bay to compliment the all-natural brand and create editorial style images that tell the Steep ingredient story with a tonal, earthy realism and rich color palette.  “The team wanted gutsy,” says Colin “and they sure got it.” The images can now be seen on boxes of Steep all over the country.
