Welcome to the Truppe: Claudio Napolitano

“Everyone deserves a BOLD portrait,” Claudio Napolitano tells us of his dynamic portfolio featuring stylized portraits of celebrities, big time CEO’s and every day people. Page after page of his book is filled with imaginative photographs that range from dark, moody and cinematic to bright, humorous and aspirational.

His portfolio takes us on a trip and so does Claudio himself. Sitting with this personable, witty and bright personality, it is easy to see why creatives love to work with him. Not only does he have the know how to execute complex ideas (that would not normally make it past a client’s first round,) he does it with a smile and ease that makes working with him nothing but a pleasure. From the first phone call to his detailed creative treatments (which he even creates for his personal projects) to final execution, the process is collaborative, creative and fun.

Complex is not all Claudio is known for though; he loves to be in studio or on location working with companies and brands of all sizes composing elevated photographs that set themselves apart in a world chock full of imagery. His recent series “There Will Be Blood,” a stunning and visceral series of portraits honoring immigrant women living in America, was honored in the 2016 Graphis Photo Annual.

His executive portraits of the new team at AC/McGarryBowen set the tone for the agency establishing themselves as a trailblazer for new ideas in the ever-changing media and digital markets. For Claudio, it’s all about working with great people with strong ideas and taking creative content to the next level.

Over the past several years Claudio has created imagery for a myriad of clients including JWT, Leo Burnett and Ogilvy on brands ranging from cars to beer and with entertainment clients including HBO and Sony. We can’t wait to hear your ideas and work together to create something new.
