Opioid abuse is currently a raging epidemic in the US, and our hearts go out to the people with family and loved ones dealing with this addiction. Vegar Abelsnes and his team were honored to have been a part of such a compassionate and honest campaign, and one that can actually really help people. It was a true pleasure working with Sharon Osbourne and her amazing team, while shooting and directing the majority of the campaign’s stills and motion content.
Sharon knows the varying emotions and physical pain involved in having loved ones dealing with opioid addiction. She now shares her story along side others, in an effort to open up a conversation about the opioid crisis and to encourage caregivers to become better informed about all available treatment options - including the non-addictive VIVITROL® (naltrexone for extended-release injectable suspension).
