It’s not often that great creative jobs come one’s way. Adventist Health’s new branding campaign, masterminded by creatives; CCO/Art Director Vince DeMarinis, CCO/Copywriter Ward Parker from Brown Parker & DeMarinis was just that.
“Together Inspired” is a campaign telling the truthful stories of individual caregivers’ experiences, illustrated by images of the real people it serves.
Award-winning director and photographer Peter Rodger was commissioned to combine stills photography and motion to create 30 TV commercials, and 10 print ads/billboards. Traveling across California from Los Angeles to Willets and casting over 400 real people, it was a dream come true.
“I was inspired by the caregiver stories and what Adventist Health does for the community. I felt privileged to be asked to do what I love—to document the world, find unique characters in all walks of life and tell such emotional and uplifting stories. To say I was excited was an understatement—here was a project that fit the very essence of who I am as a director and allowed me to work instinctively—harboring back to the influences and passion in photography and film that inspired me to pick up a camera in the first place.”
Produced by broadcast commercial-production company Untitled Inc., Peter is greatly thankful to those that made such an extensive shoot work out: EP, Jim Evans; production head, Geoff Campbell; line producer, Jay Kelman; print rep, Doug Truppe; creatives, CCO/Art Director Vince DeMarinis, CCO/Copywriter Ward Parker; agency marketing strategist, Pam Powers; casting director, Maryclaire Sweeters; 1st assistant director Ryan Lippert; DIT, James Abke; all the amazing crew—and client, Richard Dark, who’s humor kept everyone going.
“And special thanks to agency producer, Michele Morris, and Untitled rep, Siobhan McCafferty who realized how much this project was in my wheelhouse and opened all the doors.”
Lives transformed with faces of hope, we are so proud to present “Together Inspired”
