Summer School for my sophomore high school year I enrolled in two classes which changed my life: photography and typing. Photography gave me a voice and a career; typing just made my life easier. I became the High School yearbook photographer at 15 and have been shooting ever since.

My work is based in realism. Does this scene feel believable? authentic? recognizable to your audience and you? Life isn’t posed. Our gift and suffering is Relationships. This is one of the craziest, best jobs on the planet: to be a visual Circus Ringmaster. It involves constant change which I thrive in, deep focus and the occasional tight rope walk. On set, I work quickly and will put a dog in the shot if given the chance. I am perfectly comfortable talking with clients at anytime. I'm respectful it’s their budget and we are entrusted to use it with thought and care.

Self-taught photographer with an Advertising background, Claudio Napolitano’s work covers an extensive list of clients, ranging from large corporations to individuals. Growing up in Venezuela drove Claudio to push the envelope, striving to create images that told unforeseen stories. His personal motto, “If there is no work, then you have to create it for yourself,” has propelled him to seek out opportunities in the US, Europe, and Latin America.
Currently based in New York and Mexico, Claudio Napolitano’s mastery of light and motion work, combined with his artistic drive, have given him a unique voice in commercial photography, granting him prizes such as the IPA Award, PX3 Paris, and the prestigious Hasselblad Master award in 2010. His art has filtered into his commercial images, granting him a signature style for telling a brand’s story. Claudio’s curiosity is a driving force for research and for improving his technique. He’s now added 360° Video to his portfolio, exploring innovative ways for crafting a compelling narrative.

Peter Rodger grew up looking through a camera lens. As a teenager, the award-winning British director and photographer honed his skills by assisting his father, George Rodger, the renowned photojournalist and co-founder of Magnum Photos. After completing his education at England’s Maidstone College of Art, his skill with the lens has made him one of the most sought-after talents in both the European and United States advertising markets.
Peter has developed a deeply visual style of shooting that has become increasingly popular. Visceral cinematic imagery captures the soul of performance in a non-contrived, yet observational way that makes his imagery engaging with a natural, yet energetic execution.
His ever-evolving style has yielded over 35 awards as best director from The Houston International Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, The Telly Awards, The Mobius Awards and the US International Film and Video Festival. Peter produced and directed the epic non-fiction film entitled “Oh My God” – which explores peoples’ diverse opinions and perceptions of God, released in 2009.
In 2012, Peter collaborated with Gary Ross as second unit director on the motion picture blockbuster “The Hunger Games,” creating the propaganda film for the fictional “Capitol” in the story.
Peter has written eight screenplays and is attached to direct three of them. In 2009, his first book “The OMG Chronicles” was released, published by Hayhouse.

“Natural, appealing portraits of real people in simple, emblematic settings. Your pictures always make the subject the hero of the shot supported by a background or complimentary setting that helps to tell the story without becoming the story.
Your unique talent is that you create these portraits with ease and without fanfare and the net result is that they always hit the spot - they are effective, believable and usually joyful.
They never appear staged yet they appear to be a very special reality - that is one of happy acceptance - happy to be young or happy to be old, white, black, yellow, brown, happy to be. And happy to be wherever they may be - on the streets of Cairo, New York City, suburban USA, in the corporate office, the hospital, etc., etc.

Often travel with my guitar. Would travel with two, but that's a hard line item to justify. Love the people I shoot. Have made a lot of friends out there, all of which I'm thankful for. Have been to a few fun places too, which remind me that there are so many centers of the universe that you shouldn't hang your hat in one place too long. Open-minded enough to know that there's something to learn every day.

Carl is a born and bred New Yorker. After graduating from college, Carl had a short lived job as a photographer for a newspaper in Vermont. Having realized that New York was in his blood, and Vermont was not, he returned to New York to pursue his still life career.
He currently maintains a studio in the West Chelsea gallery district.
